Secretary General's Message

Rashed Musallam, Secretary-General of HTUMUN

Dear Delegates, Chairing Panels, Staff, and Media,

It is my absolute privilege to welcome you all to the annual Al Hussein Technical University Model United Nations Conference.

My name is Rashed Musallam, and this year, I have the honor of serving as the Secretary-General of HTUMUN.

My own journey with Model United Nations began during my school years, where I discovered far more than debate. MUN gave me the space to grow in diplomacy, collaboration, confidence, and public speaking — skills that have continued to shape both my academic and personal journey.

This is exactly what I hope HTUMUN can offer each of you.

Beyond the committees, speeches, and resolutions, I hope this conference becomes a place where you step outside your comfort zone, find confidence in your voice, meet people who inspire you, and create memories that stay with you long after the closing ceremony.

Whether this is your first conference or one of many, I encourage you to embrace every moment, every challenge, and every conversation. You never know which experience may leave a lasting impact on you.
